Fortis Performance Psychology

Performance Psychology for Athletes

You've done the training. You're physically prepared. But something happens when the pressure is on. This is where Fortis comes in.

Who do I

help?

Athletes, coaches, teams, and performance focused organisations, from grassroots to elite. Those who want to level up mentally and perform at their best when it counts.

Fortis

Fortis (Latin for 'strength, bravery, and courage') represents the exact traits and skills which I try to embody in the athletes I work with. I work with athletes striving from more than showing up and passively doing the work.

I work with serious athletes and competitors who have put in the physical preparation, but find that something shifts when the pressure gets real. That gap between how you perform in training and how you perform when it counts, that is my domain. That gap is a psychological barrier, and it is completely trainable .

My approach is built around you as an individual. I draw on evidence-based methods, and understanding of you, your history, and your environment. But ultimately the "frameworks" take a back seat to make way for what actually works for you, your sport, and your context.

I work with athletes across combat sports, endurance disciplines, team sports, and high demand performance environments. Whether eight weeks from a fight, building towards a race, or simply just tired of leaving the best performances for training, this is the work I do.

Perform better under pressure

Manage nerves and performance anxiety

Bounce back from setbacks

Build a team culture and environment that supports performance and wellbeing

Stay focused when it matters most
