Performance Psychology for Athletes and Individuals

Performance psychology services for serious athletes.

Every service at Fortis Performance is designed around one goal: closing the gap between maximum physical capability, and performance realities limited by our psychology. We support the gap between how you perform when it is easy, and how you perform when it matters. Whether you are 8 weeks out from a fight, building towards the biggest race of your career so far, working through something that has been holding you back, or just need support navigating the landscape of high performance, there is a service here for you.

All sessions can be delivered online, in person, or hybrid, depending on location and preference. A free 30-minute discovery call is available before committing to any service - No obligation, just a conversation to understand you, your situation, your needs, and your context, and make sure that we are the right fit.

The Performance Psychology Retainer

For individuals who want consistent, ongoing psychological performance support built into their training and development. Helping athletes navigate high performance long term.

The retainer is not simply just a bundle of sessions. It is a dedicated, ongoing performance psychology relationship. The deepest and most comprehensive support available at Fortis Performance.

Over time, a developing understanding of you as an individual, your sport, your context, your history, and your psychology, informs richer case formulation, more targeted strategies, and more meaningful progress. You are not starting from scratch each time, this work builds with you. Between sessions, light touch check-ins keep the psychological work present and active in your training. This is not something which is switched on and off once a month, and forgotten about in between.

This service has two tiers:

Tier 1: Standard Retainer - £150/month (as low as £75/session equivalent)

Up to 2x 50-minute sessions per month (one scheduled, one available on an ad hoc basis when you need it). The foundation for consistent, long-term psychological development alongside your training.

Tier 2: Retainer Plus - £260/month (as low as £65/session equivalent)

Up to 4x 50-minute sessions per month (two scheduled, two available on an ad hoc basis). For those with higher demand contexts or support needs, approaching major competitions, or in intensive training phases.

Both options are monthly rolling with a minimum 3-month initial commitment. This reflects the reality that meaningful psychological development takes time. After this initial period, you can cancel any time with one month's notice, to allow for appropriate exit and/or transition planning out of the service.

Best suited for: individuals wanting to build genuine psychological performance capability over time, not just managing issues as and when they arise.

Performance Psychology Blocks

For individuals building towards specific events, goals, or psychological barriers.

A performance block is a structured, purposeful programme of work with a clear beginning, middle, and end. It is built around your specific objective(s), whether that is a fight camp, race preparation cycle, a season build-up, or addressing a specific psychological barrier that has been limiting your performance.

Each block begins with a dedicated intake session covering goal setting, psychological profiling, and establishing your performance baseline. From there, every session is purposeful and progressive. It builds towards the defined objective(s) with evidence-based psychological skills and strategies being tailored to your context and/or sport. The final session will review progress, consolidate what has been learned, and set out what comes next for you.

Block packages:

6-Session Block - £480 (£78/session equivalent)
