Team/Group Workshops

Workshops offer a fantastic way to enhance understanding and engagement to multiple people at once. But too often, 'workshops' come across as 'lectures'. Not here though.

A Fortis workshop is not about theory. It is about practical, actionable, psycho-education which teams, coaches, athletes, schools, and organisations can apply to their performance and culture, to help with performance, wellbeing, and growth.

We offer pre-designed evidence based workshops, or can tailor workshops to the needs of an individual client. Either way, no two workshops are exactly the same.

We could cover...

Performing Under Pressure

To perform consistently, we need to be able to perform under a variety of conditions. Sport is inherently aligned with pressure. By understanding how pressure works and how we can manage it, we can use it to our advantage.

Communicating Effectively Within Teams

Communication is the foundation to which we as a species have survived! Our ability to communicate impacts everything we do, and within teams, this becomes vital for performance. Learning to communicate effectively, can take our game to the next level.

Managing Performance Anxiety

Anxiety to perform, in many ways, is the most natural thing ever. Left uncontrolled, it can become a problem... but it doesn't have to be.

Creating and Maintaining High Performance Environments

Performance does not exist in a vacuum. In many ways, it is a byproduct of the environment and culture it is developed in. How can this be addressed and enhanced in a meaningful way?

Building Mental Resilience

As an athlete, you WILL experience set backs. It is a part of sport, as it is a part of life. Truly great performances don't use adversity as a threat to their identity and goals, but as an opportunity to get even better.  It isn't easy, but it is possible.

Regaining Control of Your Emotions

Sport can be frustrating. Training can be frustrating. Performing can be frustrating. People can be frustrating. Sometimes, it can feel difficult to handle emotionally. But there are ways so to control this, and controlling our emotions can help us perform through frustration and adversity.
